We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic, energetic, and eager Production Planning Clerk in Boston! Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year in a food production or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Associates degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across production teams, logistics, and management.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, FDA food safety standards, or food manufacturing processes preferred.
  • Experience in high-volume food production, manufacturing, airline catering, or hospitality operations is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze data and support operational planning.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Support daily production planning and control processes to ensure food production aligns with airline schedules and operational requirements.
  • Monitor production accessibility, availability of ingredients, labor allocation, and production timelines.
  • Track assigned work orders to ensure on-time delivery of finished products for airline departures.
  • Communicate production updates, aircraft changes, and operational adjustments with culinary, logistics, and operations teams.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, FDA, and company food safety standards throughout production processes.
  • Assist department heads in analyzing production data to maintain cost control, quality standards, and labor efficiency.
  • Generate operational reports and support management with production planning analysis.
  • Participate in menu tastings, cycle presentations, and menu updates to ensure production specifications are accurate.
  • Coordinate with chefs and purchasing teams regarding menu ingredients, specifications, and production changes.
  • Support initiatives to improve production workflow, productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide clear communication to production teams to ensure consistent food quality and timely delivery.
  • Perform additional administrative or operational duties as assigned by management.
