About The Position

This role is for a Production Planner at the Bethel Production Site in the United States. The successful candidate will be part of an engaged team, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, and will collaborate with internal experts and external partners to drive innovative solutions. Kanthal, part of the Alleima Group, is a world-leading brand in industrial heating technology and resistance material, focusing on innovative solutions and reducing environmental impact. The Production Planner will be responsible for coordinating inbound and/or outbound logistical operations, including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of prior experience as a Production Planner.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong regard for product quality and safety standards.
  • Experience with MRP and ERP systems.
  • A practical problem solver who values the power of action and the fulfillment of bringing concepts to life.

Responsibilities

  • Plan assigned production flow.
  • Monitor status of and resolve problems with material flow.
  • Release material and work orders to production groups per established schedules.
  • Execute the preparation of production schedules and detailed machine loading to comply with delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate with Production supervisor, sales, and logistics personnel to alleviate conditions that negatively affect scheduled deliveries.
  • Work closely with production to find improvement areas in planning and production flow.
  • Use company systems to drive overall planning and customer service improvements.
  • Admin the Item Master data
