About The Position

Job Opportunity: Production Planner with Fameccanica in West Chester, OH Do you like being the person who keeps production moving? Fameccanica North America is hiring a Production Planner to support our manufacturing operation by managing parts, materials, and building readiness. You’ll play a key role in making sure production teams have what they need, when they need it, to keep schedules on track. What You’ll Be Doing In this role, you’ll be the link between materials, production, and purchasing. Your work directly impacts whether builds stay on schedule. The Manufacturing Environment You’ll support a production team working with fabricated components, including metal products and pipe assemblies. Requirements

  • Experience in production planning, materials planning, inventory control, or manufacturing coordination
  • Comfort working in a manufacturing or fabrication setting
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems and Excel
  • Strong organization, follow‑up, and communication skills
  • Someone who enjoys problem‑solving and working with multiple teams

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Relevant hands‑on experience is welcome and valued

Responsibilities

  • Understand all parts and materials required for builds and assemblies
  • Release parts and materials to the production floor at the right time
  • Track incoming parts, inventory levels, and open orders
  • Monitor where parts are in the production process
  • Work closely with purchasing to follow up on orders and deliveries
  • Identify parts that need to be reordered before they become a problem
  • Support supervisors with production schedules and build timelines
  • Monitor repeat parts and ongoing production needs
  • Keep accurate information updated in ERP/MRP systems
