About The Position

A leading aerospace manufacturer specializing in advanced ice protection and temperature‑control technologies is seeking a Production Planner to support efficient material flow, accurate scheduling, and on‑time delivery. This role is central to coordinating manufacturing activity, optimizing production processes, and supporting cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in production planning, materials planning, or manufacturing scheduling.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables required).
  • Ability to read and understand production documents, computer reports, and procedure manuals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

Nice To Haves

  • Aerospace manufacturing experience.
  • Hands‑on production or shop‑floor experience.
  • Experience supporting engineering development or prototype builds.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Analyze, prepare, and issue production work orders.
  • Support capacity planning and resource allocation.
  • Provide production status and lead‑time data to sales and management.
  • Coordinate material requirements through ERP/MRP systems, inventory levels, and Kanban signals.
  • Issue purchase requisitions for required materials.
  • Monitor work‑in‑progress and proactively address delays.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Work closely with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and engineering teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
  • Support engineering development projects from design through production release.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activity and inventory transactions.
  • Analyze production processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and throughput.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Follow detailed written and verbal instructions in English.
