As the Production Planner, you will provide shop orders and information from the production plan to various departments using shop load and capacity metrics. You will ensure our commitments to internal and external customers are met. Work with Manager to monitor again WIP; exception messages, transactional integrity and long view planning schedules. Using master schedule and various sources, provide production schedule for manufacturing, sub assembly and final assembly department; Responsible for overseeing and handling special projects as required. Regular maintenance of the material master. Review purchased v. manufactured material as required. Review and maintain lead times as required. Work with engineering , manufacturing and final assembly departments to ensure critical deadlines are met; Extension of new material numbers to Waukesha Plant with oversight. Review MRP demand including aging WIP Monitor and communicate progress of projects, customer orders and other assignments to appropriate parties. Work with shop floor to resolve issues creatively but with attention to transactional integrity. Understand current shop load and capacity to create capacity plan to improve OTIF; Additional duties and responsibilities as applicable.
