About The Position

As a Product Planner at MKS, you will partner with various teams across MKS (Manufacturing, Procurement, Network Planning, Engineering, Sales, etc.) and customers to create weekly production plans in order to deliver products on time. In this role, you will report to the Senior Production Control Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 0-1+ year of related experience in planning, coordinating, and scheduling production operations. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate and present information across varying levels of the organization.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities
• Knowledge of production processes and quality control
• Up to 10% of Travel is required. Especially in Massachusetts locations.
• This position is onsite and candidate must live within commutable distance to our location in Methuen MA . Relocation benefits are not available for this position.

Nice To Haves

• A background in labor capacity planning is preferred.
• CPIM certification preferred.
• Oracle and/or Agile knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Planning, scheduling, coordinating and/or final approval of products through the complete production cycle.
• Working from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules and labor and capacity requirements.
• Coordinating production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules.
• Managing and controlling shortages and backlog to deliver product on-time.
• Providing input to management and/or interfaces with marketing, sales, production and engineering managers to reschedule in case of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
