Production Planner
About The Position
-You will serve as a liaison between the sales, production, purchasing and quality control departments. -This includes owning the ordering process. (i.e. lost orders, stopped orders, general order status, rush orders and large order processing). -The next step of that process is reporting on-time delivery metrics to gauge performance and communicating lead times and delivery dates to sales and purchasing. -You will determine production schedules to meet customer expectations and minimize cost. -You will work closely with managers throughout the organization to meet production and labor efficiency measures and distribute production schedules and work orders to all departments involved.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- No prior experience necessary
- Must be able to lift 75lbs approximately 30 times a day
Nice To Haves
- Ability to use hand tools such as routers, files, tape measure, table saw, etc. is preferred
- Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn new things
