-You will serve as a liaison between the sales, production, purchasing and quality control departments. -This includes owning the ordering process. (i.e. lost orders, stopped orders, general order status, rush orders and large order processing). -The next step of that process is reporting on-time delivery metrics to gauge performance and communicating lead times and delivery dates to sales and purchasing. -You will determine production schedules to meet customer expectations and minimize cost. -You will work closely with managers throughout the organization to meet production and labor efficiency measures and distribute production schedules and work orders to all departments involved.
