About The Position

The Production Planner will create and maintain BOM & ROUTING item records, conduct the assignment and maintenance for both bills of material and routings for all manufactured residential goods, while also determining required product to be manufactured based on desired inventory, customer orders, and resource availability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; 2–4-year Degree preferred
• 2+ years’ experience with SAP or similar ERP Software
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Products with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in basic math including clock math and 24-hour time
• Proven organizational skills and problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Determine manufacturing requirements and planning of residential backorders.
• Maintain minimum inventory levels through scheduling of manufactured residential product.
• Determine manufacturing requirements and planning of new lines, and special programs.
• Create and maintain residential item BOMs and routings.
• Create Production Orders for all residential sample books and Initial Stock qty’s.
• Create Production Orders for all residential Inventory and Print & Ship requirements.
• Support customer service regarding back orders and prioritization of demand
• Act as back-up for Commercial Planner for set up and scheduling.
• All other related duties as assigned by management.
