About The Position

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS SAFETY/COMPLIANCE Schedule and execute waste production in compliance with permits, internal policies, and governmental regulations. Monitor waste production activities to ensure adherence to environmental and safety standards. Support ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 programs and ensure alignment in planning and execution. PRODUCTION PLANNING Plan and maintain the daily incineration set-up for waste solids and liquids. Develop optimized production schedules for released waste across feed locations. Plan repackaging and processing of bulked solid waste and drummed waste. Prepare set-up paperwork for flatbed loading and waste processing. Communicate daily production plans and adjust based on waste mix, inventory, and operational constraints. Anticipate and proactively address constraints related to inventory, staging, and equipment readiness. Manage the Ross Generated Waste Program. EXECUTION/COORDINATION Facilitate daily set-up execution to ensure production plans are carried out effectively. Monitor feed locations and production flow in real time to maintain optimized sequencing. Identify, escalate, and resolve bottlenecks, delays, and inventory issues impacting production. Coordinate staging, repackaging, and processing activities to meet timing requirements. Serve as primary liaison between Planning and Operations to ensure alignment and responsiveness. Maintain strong floor presence to validate execution and adjust plans dynamically. INVENTORY & REPORTING Conduct physical inventory activities to ensure accurate onsite waste tracking. Responsible for waste receipt, inventory, and production reporting. Assign billing codes and ensure accuracy of production documentation. Assists with shipper package preparation and reviews manifest paperwork for discrepancies. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILTIES Utilize business systems and tools for communication and reporting. Participate in on-call rotation for production planning and execution. Provides backup support for operation assistant duties to maintain operations. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in a technical, operations, logistics, or related discipline required; equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience will be considered.
  • 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, chemical processing, or high-throughput industrial environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in both production planning/scheduling and real-time execution/coordination.
  • Work is conducted indoor office and outdoor chemical processing environments.
  • Experience in fast-paced, variable production environments requiring real-time decision making.
  • Strong communication, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to coordinate across functions and influence without authority.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required).
