About The Position

Eurofins Medical Device Services is looking for a Production Planner to join our team in Lancaster, PA. This individual will: Execute efficient schedules on a regular basis to maximize efficiency of resources and equipment. Collaborate with staff to identify scheduling requirements Proactively monitors production process, workflow, and schedules to ensure on-time delivery. Provide various scheduling analyses to ensure optimal schedules and provide staff recommendations. Make recommendations to modify production dates based on materials and capacity fluctuations. Lead and execute the expansion of the scheduling service to new teams and sites Recognize and analyze problems with scheduling system to solve ongoing and repeat issues Capture, store, and report on historical statistics Generate daily or weekly production reports to leaders for critical decision-making purposes. Maintain communication of information between the users and management concerning system development and maintenance needs, objectives, and strategies. Champion and implement process improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with new processes across service lines. Performs other related duties as required and directed

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of scheduling experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project is highly desirable
  • High level critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Ability to think abstractly/conceptually about data fields, data relationships, and processes.
  • Project management or facilitation skills.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to forecast and trend workload needs.
  • Basic understanding of pharmaceutical testing is not required, but would be beneficial
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is required.
  • A high school diploma, Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
