About The Position

The Production Planner position is responsible for a variety of analytical and administrative duties within the designated cells, in conjunction with creating and releasing job orders through the ERP (Visual) system. Location: Whitesboro, NY This role is onsite 100% of the time

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in related field and two (2) years of related experience
  • Knowledge of production scheduling processes in a manufacturing environment
  • Computer skills including fluency with Microsoft Office Products
  • Knowledge of MRP Systems
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Five (5) years of related experience
  • Ability to perform multiples tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with tremendous sense of urgency, resourcefulness, and adaptability
  • Prior knowledge of Visual Manufacturing ERP a plus

Responsibilities

  • Control the flow of work throughout manufacturing, release and monitor work orders throughout the manufacturing cycle and act as a liaison between work centers and the customer to ensure on-time delivery of product.
  • Review customer schedules to prioritize and release work orders
  • Expedite parts throughout the manufacturing process acting as liaison between all arears of the business to keep parts moving toward completion.
  • Manage capacity in responsible areas to ensure adequate staffing is maintained
  • Responsible for control of inventory including finished goods and WIP
  • Ensure work centers have updated schedules and monitor compliance
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
