Position Summary: Responsible for ensuring that customer expectations are met in conjunction with our manufacturing processes. The position is the contact for our customers on all aspects of materials including shipments, purchase orders, delivery, and updating customer driven systems for orders. Primary Responsibilities: Reviews KAN BAN system and Work in Process inventory to ensure it is sufficient to meet daily requirements Monitors and maintains vendor on line systems Coordinates all outbound expedites to the customer Reports on delivery status for all customers on a required basis Checks warehouse receipts and tab runs for discrepancies Orders and correlates stock from intercompany suppliers Makes appropriate changes in schedules and in stock orders to meet production on priority jobs as required Maintains inventory levels on obsolete jobs, spot buys, jobs out of line with production.
