Hilco Vision is currently searching for an experienced Production Planner/Scheduler to join the team! The Production Planner/Scheduler will be responsible for the organization and processing of work orders and product lines for the entire order life cycle from order initiation to shipping and/or return! Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (preferred), paired with three or more years of experience in production planning within light assembly and manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of forecasting and demand planning systems
• Proficiency utilizing an MRP-based Planning System – Infor M3 experience is preferable
• Attention to detail, organized and efficient
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of the entire MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Issue and track work orders for assigned product lines based on MRP analysis and processes
• Organize all work orders and sales orders for the production floor
• Launch, process and schedule all sales orders and work orders, including cutting, printing and organizing all orders by department / product; assigns totes to orders and make copies of orders if necessary
• Manage master production schedule to meet customer shipments deadline and sufficient stock levels
• Works with CSR to expedite, resolve all orders issues and advises status of orders
• Minimizes backorders through analysis of the backorder report, adjust schedules as necessary
• Communicate all changes to production floor
• Fix any allocation issues that prevent orders from generating a picklist
• Performs necessary steps in executing ECRs, re-work and other special orders
• Establishes expedite priorities with buyers and assists them as necessary
