Production Planner/Master Scheduler 3
About The Position
In the Global Products Group, we are dedicated to excellence in the design and engineering of Lam's etch and deposition products. We drive innovation to ensure our cutting-edge solutions are helping to solve the biggest challenges in the semiconductor industry. Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle. Works from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements. Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules. Provides input to management; schedules and/or interfaces with marketing, sales, production and engineering managers. Works to resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs, design changes, and other potential schedule interruptions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree.
- Deep knowledge of the inputs and outputs of an MRP system.
- Experience working in a manufacturing setting, setting production priorities on a daily basis.
- Experience working with other operations teams to achieve build targets.
- Tenacious and detail-oriented focus on executing according to plan.
- Ability to work on-site 5 days a week.
Nice To Haves
- 10 years working various operations roles including material procurement, inventory management, shipping and receiving, and production planning.
- Strong understanding of how an MRP system works.
- Experience in producing mechatronic assemblies.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain the production plan through job orders.
- Request material kits according to the production plan.
- Move completed products to finished goods.
- Check for BOM accuracy on planned job orders.
- Work with customer service to expedite specific orders as needed.
- Work with supervisors to prioritize builds based on resources available.
