About The Position

The Production Planner Assistant supports the Production and Supply Chain teams by ensuring production objectives are met to align with company requirements. This role is responsible for assisting with daily production planning activities, materials management, purchasing support, and order coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Purchasing, Production Planning, or Supply Chain Management
  • Experience with Order Management or ERP systems
  • SAP preferred
  • Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong general computer skills

Responsibilities

  • Support daily production planning activities to ensure production schedules and objectives are met
  • Check and verify parts availability on a daily basis
  • Run MRP and analyze results to support production and purchasing decisions
  • Review and track purchase orders (POs) and assist with purchasing activities as needed
  • Confirm and release production orders
  • Process and coordinate orders for shipment
  • Communicate effectively with the Sales team regarding order status and production timelines
  • Maintain accurate records within ERP systems
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned to support the Production team
