At Charter Steel in Saukville, WI, we melt, pour, and shape the steel that keeps America moving — and we’re looking for dependable people who want to be part of that process. 2 Positions Available at Charter Steel — 1658 Cold Springs Rd. Saukville, WI 53080 Billet Conditioner (Melting Department) | Night Shift | $24.25/hr + Shift Premium = $26.50/hr Rotate through different positions throughout shift. Use power tools to remove kerf and support processing. Take measurements and record billet information. Apply ID tags using a welding torch and mark billets with chalk. Perform visual quality inspections Operate an overhead crane Finishing Operator (Rolling Department) | Night Shift | $24.25 + Shift premium = $26.50/hr Rotate through several positions during shift. Operate conveyors & compactor Trim front and back of coils. Assist with mill size changes, including roll changes. Operate a forklift Why Work Here: Schedule: 12 hour night shifts on our 5-2-2-5 schedule. You would work 5 nights on, 2 nights off, 2 nights on, 5 nights off; Have every other weekend off! Bonus: A $2,000 SIGN‑ON BONUS paid out after 90 days + quarterly bonuses + annual profit‑sharing bonus! Requirements

  • Background in manufacturing or industrial production, assembly, warehouse, welding, construction, steel, or other hands on jobs
  • Strong safe work mindset
