Location Quincy, IL Job Function Reporting into the Production Supervisor , the Operator will be based out of Quincy, Illinois, USA and will be responsible for production

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent with strong math skills
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work orders
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
  • A strong sense of self-motivation and ability to work well in team environment

Responsibilities

  • Safety first mindset and actively contributes to the safety culture
  • Transfers raw materials to machines to meet production needs
  • Ensures that materials are brought in an orderly fashion
  • Doses raw materials into blending operations
  • Tracks and records dosages, lot numbers, scrap, and production issues
  • Packages and palletizes finished product
  • Regularly operates forklifts and other heavy equipment
  • Responsible for keeping process area clean
  • Meets written expectations of management
  • Adheres to all policies and procedures
  • Provides all paperwork to leaders at shift change
  • Hand-sweep, shovel, and/or wheelbarrow as directed
  • Operational assistance as required in production, bagging, warehouse, and shipping areas
  • Cleans up material and returns proper ore to piles, containers, and/or trash area as directed
  • Works in a neat and orderly manner to minimize loss
  • Other duties as required to maintain and efficient operation
  • PPE: Respirator, reflective outerwear, long sleeves and pants, steel toed shoes, hard hat, safety glasses, and ear plugs. Uniforms are provided at no cost. An annual boot allowance is provided. All other PPE is provided at no cost to the employee.
