About The Position
The Level 4 Production Operators are a vital piece of the Processing, Ingredient Prep/Receiving, Packaging/Sanitation and Distribution Departments of the Nestle Purina Crete Factory. The Level 4 Production Operators will meet all Safety, Health, Quality and Environmental requirements when performing job duties. Requirements
- 6+ months experience working in a production capacity such as manufacturing, agriculture, warehouse, industrial, military or related environment.
- Willingness to learn how to operate a forklift and obtain necessary certification.
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year experience operating a forklift.
Responsibilities
- Cover and backup operators in Processing, Ingredient Prep & Receiving and Packing departments.
- Operate a forklift loading and unloading trailers to the warehouse.
- Perform visual inspections of cans, monitor temperature of incoming and outgoing cans.
- Perform all Process, Ingredient Prep and Packaging Line Set Up.
- Record and keep records for good manufacturing practices.
- Comply with all Nestlé and plant-specific policies.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
