About The Position

The Production Operator Intern supports manufacturing operations in a fast‑paced environment while learning core production, safety, and quality skills. This role is ideal for individuals beginning their technical or mechanical career.

Requirements

• Participation in a relevant educational program
• Must be at least 18 years old at time of employment start
• Interest in mechanical, autobody, or manufacturing work.
• Basic ability to use hand tools and measuring devices.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing or shop‑class experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Train across multiple production areas and follow standardized work instructions.
• Assist with basic operation of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
• Support preparation, cleaning, and processing of molds, equipment, and parts.
• Learn to perform tasks such as cutting, shaping, bonding, forming, curing, trimming, and drilling.
• Use simple measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to check work accuracy.
• Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Assist with chemical cleaning, sanding, blending, and de‑burring of parts.
• Help move, load, and deliver parts; occasionally assist with hoists or lifting devices.
