About The Position

Join Carlisle Companies Incorporated as a Production Operator I, where you’ll play a hands-on role in producing high-quality building materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll operate production machinery, support experienced operators, and ensure products meet Carlisle’s safety and quality standards. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position with occasional overtime and no travel required. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with machinery, take pride in safety and quality, and want to grow their skills within a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

  • Previous manufacturing or production experience

Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery within your assigned department to complete production work orders safely and efficiently
  • Review work orders and ensure proper materials are available to meet production needs
  • Monitor machine operations to maintain standard work and optimal performance
  • Perform safety-critical tasks including lockout/tagout, daily equipment inspections, and hazard-based functions
  • Stack, sort, bundle, and package materials according to departmental standards
  • Support Operators II and III with packaging and end-of-line operations as needed
  • Record production and quality data to support continuous improvement efforts
  • Participate in housekeeping, 5S activities, and SQDC initiatives
  • Assist with quality checks to verify production parameters are met
  • Meet production goals while strictly adhering to all safety requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
