About The Position

Cadence Inc., located in Staunton, Virginia, is hiring a Machine Operator for the 1st Shift. The purpose of the Machine Operator position is to set up and operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. The ability to use computer-controlled equipment to select positions and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines. Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete routine tasks according to specifications. Requirements

  • Computer Skills
  • Strong mathematical skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.
  • Ability to navigate and operate applicable machines.
  • Proven history of high-level measuring experience.
  • Accurate input of data into production logs and electronic systems.
  • Familiarity with quality control systems/software for recording and analyzing inspection data.
  • Understanding and navigating electronic manuals or documentation.
