As part of our Blending team, you’ll play a hands-on role in producing high-quality products that support our mission while working closely with teammates in a safety-focused manufacturing environment. The Blending team is responsible for checking in materials, setting up equipment, and accurately weighing and mixing ingredients. The Role & Your Impact As a Blending Operator – 1st Shift, you will be a key contributor to daily production operations. Your work ensures that products are manufactured safely, accurately, and in compliance with quality, GMP, and regulatory standards. Key responsibilities include: Setting up, operating, adjusting, cleaning, and sanitizing blending equipment according to procedures Accurately weighing and mixing raw materials based on batch recipes and formulations Printing, applying, and verifying product labels, lot numbers, and batch records Performing basic and preventative maintenance (PM) and identifying equipment issues Taking samples for Quality Control testing as required Maintaining accurate production records, equipment logs, and inventory documentation Assisting in SOP development and continuous improvement activities using Lean principles Supporting other operators as needed to meet production demands Following all safety protocols, GMP requirements, and standardized work procedures Adhering to Kosher and Halal dietary law certification guidelines Properly using PPE, including Powered Air-Purifying Respirators (PAPR), and maintaining required certifications

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • Ability to apply basic math skills, including metric weight and volume conversions
  • Ability to read and follow production journals and batch documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
  • Basic computer skills; ERP system experience (SAP) is preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly with coworkers regarding production status
  • Ability to use basic hand tools for equipment assembly and disassembly

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a GMP-regulated or food production environment
  • Forklift or pallet walker experience
  • Familiarity with Lean or continuous improvement concepts
  • Strong reliability and attendance record
  • Interest in learning new processes and expanding technical skills
