Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:00 am to 1:30 pm or 7:00 am to 3:30pm Recruiter: Tammie Stacye/[email protected] Fills cryogenic liquids and pure non-flammable industrial gases according to Airgas Fill Plant Standard Operating Procedures by any of the following methods: Sets pressure gauge to specified reading and monitors for indication of full cylinders. Adjusts valves and observes gauge to fill cylinder to specified pressure. Observes scale indicator to fill cylinders to specified weight. Fills cylinder to full capacity, moves cylinder onto scale using safe handling techniques, and connects vent line to release excess gas and ensure the prescribed weight is met. Positions cylinders onto platform or in manifold racks with the aid of material handling equipment or team-supported techniques. Tests gas for purity using testing equipment to maintain our high-quality standards. Inspects and evaluates empty cylinders to ensure safety. Examines exterior of cylinder for surface defects such as dents, cracks, or burns, and evaluates whether to quarantine the cylinder for further expert inspection. Contributes to team goals and supports plant operations as needed.

Requirements

Ability to become forklift certified is required.
Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.
Ability to read and comprehend Safety Data Sheets, labels and all other written communications.

Responsibilities

Fills cryogenic liquids and pure non-flammable industrial gases according to Airgas Fill Plant Standard Operating Procedures by any of the following methods:
