Your Mission Lead a production team to produce parts on schedule, at the right quality, and within budget. You’ll optimize processes, uphold safety, and drive continuous improvement across fabrication and assembly operations. Key Impact Areas Team Leadership: Direct, coach, and develop production staff to meet daily and weekly targets. Planning & Assignment: Translate plans into actionable tasks and allocate work based on priorities and capacity. Operational Excellence: Monitor processes, remove constraints, and promote best practices for throughput and quality. Equipment Readiness: Perform routine inspections; escalate and resolve issues with maintenance and engineering. Safety First: Implement, reinforce, and audit safety protocols. Data Discipline: Record production quantities, downtime, and material usage accurately. Training & Development: Onboard new hires and upskill existing staff on safety, production techniques, and equipment use. Schedule Accountability: Keep the plan on track and provide regular status updates to leadership. Cross-Functional Flow: Partner with quality control and logistics to ensure seamless production and delivery. Continuous Improvement: Take on additional tasks that enhance production performance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher in manufacturing, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Able to speak English and Spanish.
  • Demonstrated success in a manufacturing supervisory or similar role.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and inventory control.
  • Experience with ERP or production scheduling software.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making in fast-paced operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and perform under pressure.
  • High attention to detail and dedication to quality.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds; frequent repetitive hand movements, including simple grasping and pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds.
  • Activities include standing, lifting, bending, twisting, walking, sitting, squatting, reaching above shoulders, and climbing.
