About The Position

You will be the Production IPT Lead, responsible for driving the production of components and assemblies in Troy. Our team is focused on delivering high-quality products efficiently and effectively, and we're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Production IPT Lead to join our team. As the Production IPT Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise, project ownership, and support to site manufacturing teams to ensure the efficient and effective production of high-quality products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize production workflows, and will be responsible for ensuring that Troy meets cost, schedule, and quality targets. Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience
  • Manufacturing or Process Engineers or direct Factory Floor Supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with successful return to green planning and execution
  • Must have the ability to obtain a Security Clearance, therefore must be a US Citizen

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading Integrated Product Teams to meet Safety, Cost, Quality and Schedule commitments.
  • BS/MS in a technical field (i.e. Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, etc. Engineering)
  • Experience with SAP & Apriso
  • Certification in a lean or Six Sigma methodology, such as Black Belt or Green Belt with demonstrated experience in Design of Experiments and Statistical Process Control
  • Knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001 or AS9100
  • Formal Root Cause and Correct Action training and demonstrated experience.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry, such as aerospace or defense
  • Demonstrated experience in managing capital projects

Responsibilities

  • Providing technical expertise, project ownership, and support to site manufacturing teams
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize production workflows
  • Ensuring that Troy meets cost, schedule, and quality targets
  • Providing coaching and guidance to empower team members to take ownership of specific aspects of the recovery plan
  • Understanding the multisite critical path to ensure efficient allocation of resources and resolve any schedule delays
  • Developing, preparing, and presenting business case analyses and justifications for funding
