About The Position

You will be a Program Production Operations Lead for the Javelin Weapon System Program. Our team is responsible for producing world class shoulder fired anti armor systems and supporting rapid growth in domestic and international markets.. What You Will Be Doing As a Javelin Production Operations Lead, you will lead the Integrated Product Team (IPT) for Orlando based production work centers. You will partner with site production teams and other cross functional stakeholders to ensure production activities meet cost, schedule, quality, and safety objectives. In addition, you will be the identified Javelin capital lead and facilitate the program's capital management efforts. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other recognized STEM field
  • Experience in or directly supporting manufacturing work centers
  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing projects with multiple functional stakeholders
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint / Excel)
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with high rate production, specifically missile systems or components
  • SAP/MRP experience
  • Experience as capital project owner and/or supporting capital project execution
  • Demonstrated experience with proposal activities / inputs
  • Demonstrated experience interfacing with and reporting to senior program / functional management

Responsibilities

  • Establishing and executing detailed production plans, including Return-to-Green (RTG) requirements when required.
  • Overseeing assigned production non-recurring and spiral development activities to ensure they meet program schedule milestones.
  • Leading cross functional teams to diagnose and resolve production issues quickly.
  • Presenting routine production status to program and functional leadership.
  • Facilitating the annual Long Range Planning (LRP) cycle and overseeing capital project authorization and execution.
