The Production Manager is responsible for day-to-day manufacturing execution of LPG flow valves, ensuring production targets are met safely, efficiently, and to specification. This role translates operational plans into consistent, high-quality output through a focus on shop-floor leadership, scheduling, workforce supervision, and process discipline. As a key member of the leadership team, the Production Manager fosters a collaborative environment that promotes accountability, problem-solving, and teamwork to achieve operational excellence and deliver for our customers. What You’ll Do Manage daily and weekly production schedules for LPG flow valves and sub-assemblies to ensure production targets for volume, quality, and delivery are met according to priority Through use of the CMMS and production schedules, coordinate machine utilization, labor allocation, and shift coverage by monitoring workflow, bottlenecks, and downtime; implement corrective actions through partnerships with Maintenance, Quality, and Planning Assign work, set daily priorities, and provide on-the-floor direction Ensure products are manufactured in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards Enforce adherence to LPG industry requirements, safety standards, and internal procedures as the facility strives to attain ISO-9001 certification Partner with Quality to address non-conformances, rework, and root-cause analysis Supervise and develop production supervisors, technicians, and operators Support hiring, training, and performance management of production staff Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement Ensure the team maintains a safe, organized, and compliant manufacturing environment Enforce safety procedures and proper handling of LPG-related components Participate in safety audits, incident investigations, and corrective actions Identify opportunities to enhance material flow, space utilization, improve throughput, reduce scrap and improve process efficiency through lean principles. Support lean manufacturing initiatives and standard work implementation Provide feedback to Engineering and Operations on manufacturability and process improvements Communicate production status, risks, and constraints to the Plant Manager Track and report key production metrics (output, yield, downtime, labor efficiency, QDIP) Flexibility for travel; up to 10% What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Operations, or related fields; equivalent experience may be considered 5+ years of experience in manufacturing leadership (valves, industrial components, or regulated products preferred) Strong understanding of machining, assembly, testing, and production flow Experience working in safety-critical or regulated manufacturing environments Proven ability to lead teams on the shop floor Proven ability working with production schedules, KPIs, and SOPs Experience with ERP/WMS systems (INFOR XA preferred) Strong leadership skills with a team-oriented mindset- able to motivate, support and develop employees at all levels through a hands-on, practical leadership style Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a data-driven approach Effective and clear communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate cross-functionally and build trust with stakeholders Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices preferred High attention to detail, accuracy and organization in a fast-paced environment #LI-GP1
