About The Position

Production Managers maintain timelines and deadlines for all departments and contractors affiliated with filming. They supervise pre-production and production processes, and then provide invaluable notes to the Editing Team during post production. Our ideal candidate for this role will know how to communicate thoughts and ideas clearly to all supervised departments. Since our method for successful virality places content above all else, we will also need this candidate to be adaptable and able to partner with our Creative Team to make on-the-fly decisive decisions. If the candidate wants to exceed our expectations they will lead their production team in continual side projects that help improve production team efficiencies, i.e. maintaining and adding to our vendor list, price checking contractors, developing new business relationships, tracking and maintaining company card receipts, and assessing safety standards for Covid and on set protocols.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience as a production manager
  • Used to quick timelines to ensure standards are met
  • Leadership
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Previous experience in YouTube preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Lead Content Strategist on video creative
  • Manage the day to day operations for the production team
  • Negotiate with contractors, locations and rentals
  • Oversee Production Coordinator’s organization of expenses, contractor paperwork, call sheets, releases, travel and accommodations
  • Oversee the budget and timeline with the Lead Producer
  • Communicating with camera, lighting, audio and post teams
  • Ensure proper safety and COVID-19 protocols are being followed for shoots
