About The Position

G&F Precision Molding Inc. is an agile, innovative, customer-centric company dedicated to providing specialized, creative solutions in the life science, medical device, and pharmaceutical sectors. They tackle challenging projects from concept to execution, offering custom solutions to universal manufacturing needs. The company is seeking a high-impact Production Manager to lead its manufacturing department. This role involves ensuring all operations align with company procedures and the documented quality management system, directly supervising the 1st shift while overseeing leadership for the 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience supervising a manufacturing operations department.
  • Four-year technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Strong ability to handle technical discussions and comply with complex written and verbal directions.
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom environment (PPE required)
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs
  • Ability to stand/bend for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to perform periodic domestic travel as required.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • coursework in management or problem-solving (SPC/SQC) is preferred.
  • ISO 9001 and/or 13485 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate production and manufacturing processes across all product lines to meet customer requirements and profit goals.
  • Review processing schedules to determine staffing requirements, work procedures, and duty assignments.
  • Drive and execute management goals for on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, labor costs, and material cost reduction.
  • Maintain the production module of the ERP system for data accuracy and provide monthly forecasting for open sales.
  • Oversee the hiring, training, and performance management of production personnel, providing constructive feedback and development plans.
  • Participate in advanced product quality planning (APQP) and recommend improvements for tooling and equipment technology.
  • Coordinate programs for raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and final goods to ensure cost-effective inventory management.
