Requirements

A minimum of five years of progressive management experience in food manufacturing or repackaging
Associate’s degree in Food Technology or related field (operations management experience highly valued).
Proficient in Microsoft Office and facility inventory systems
Strong mechanical aptitude and process improvement skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and mentor teams, with excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
Respectful, approachable, and community-driven with a positive attitude; committed to maintaining safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Able to perform moderate physical activity (lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, reaching, standing/walking for extended periods) in varied manufacturing environments including noisy, humid, or hot/cold conditions, near moving machinery, and with occasional chemical exposure.

Responsibilities

Lead a 24/7, three-shift frozen repackaging operation, ensuring safe, efficient production and on-time customer deliveries.
Manage and develop shift supervisors and production teams, driving performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Monitor and improve key metrics including OEE, labor efficiency, downtime, throughput, and product quality.
Partner with maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and reduce production downtime.
Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, safety regulations, and Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements.
Drive Lean manufacturing and process improvements to increase productivity and reduce operational costs.
