About The Position

Mungo Homes has a new opening for a Production Manager in the Triad, NC market! This position is responsible for monitoring quality for designated area. Responsibilities include identifying quality issues, making them visible for resolution, and insuring accuracy, consistency, among communities, project managers, and subcontractors by conduction and tracking quality inspections.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and / or ten or more years residential construction experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Apple iPad
Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to learn KOVA software
Valid state drivers license in good standing.
Minimum state required automobile insurance.
North Carolina Residential Builder’s License.

Responsibilities

Perform quality walk-throughs at various phases of construction to review quality in all phases of work.
Verify completion of quality inspection items, either through onsite checks or following up with Area Superintendent.
Participate in review of completed plans coming out of development/design to ensure buildability and identify potential quality issues.
Participate in the building of prototypes working with Estimators and Purchasing on estimates and purchase orders.
Identify and document structural issues, problem spots and material use.
Investigate quality issues submitted on Problem Reports and respond.
Assist with subcontractor review, job cost review and investigation of discrepancies.
Provide field verification of construction details on plans and recommend/submit clarifications/changes.
Document inspection activities as well as direction provided to other production employees and subcontractors.
Pursue continuous improvement within the position working towards the overall Company goals.
Meet or exceed previous performance levels in the areas defined by the key indicators and specific goals for the position and the Division.
