About The Position

Oregon Corrections Enterprises (OCE) is seeking a Production Manager to supervise the day-to-day operational and production output of OCE business units at TRCI which include: Laundry, Upholstery, and Wood Fabrication. The Production Manager will create a world-class, lean operation that is focused on OCE's customers and flexible enough to adapt to changing customer needs. This role provides leadership and creates change to improve on processes, quality, safety, cost, and efficiency throughout operations. The ideal candidate will encourage teamwork and collaboration while providing a positive work environment. This position supports the General Manager and partners with the Department of Corrections (DOC) superintendent and institution staff with the common goals of Measure 17 compliance (Adults in Custody work skills development and institution safety and security). Requirements

  • Five (5) years of management experience in a public or private organization which includes responsibilities for operational performance results and development / execution of program rules, policies, short and long-range goals / plans, program evaluation, and budget preparation.
  • Pass an initial and annual Law Enforcement Data System (LEDS) criminal background check
  • Pass pre-employment drug screening
  • OR Two (2) years of management experience in a public or private organization which includes responsibilities for operational performance results and development / execution of program rules, policies, short and long-range goals / plans, program evaluation, and budget preparation AND a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Industrial Engineering/Technology or Supply Chain Management.
