Requirements

A bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant industry experience.
2+ years of experience in manufacturing plant supervision.
A pattern of initiative and leadership.
Strong problem-solving, decision making, and project management skills.
Highly developed interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.

Previous food manufacturing leadership experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides guidance to salaried and hourly direct reports in the day-to-day operations of the Day Grocery Products operation.
Provides all direct reports adequate training on all functions of their respective area including Quality Control program, sanitation procedures, safety training, and proper production procedures.
Promotes safety in the department ensuring compliance with company and government regulations.
Is responsible for assuring the departments achieve standard yield objectives while meeting all quality specifications.
Ensures Team Leaders make decisions that allow them to achieve labor efficiency and utilization objectives.
Ensures supply waste usage is within standard range for this department and ensures that sanitation and housekeeping objectives are met.
Achieves objectives regarding records, reports, and other administrative responsibilities.
Drive and deliver strategic cost management projects for all salaried team members under their supervision.
Performs other duties as assigned.
