About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations for automotive fluid conveying products, including power steering hose assemblies, transmission oil cooler lines, and A/C lines. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing, preferably in fluid conveying systems, hose assemblies, or tubing
• Proven leadership experience managing production teams in a high-volume environment
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as crimping, forming, brazing, and assembly
• Knowledge of automotive quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949)
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Nice To Haves

• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certification
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and control plans
• Familiarity with OEM and Tier 1 automotive supplier requirements
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and oversee daily production activities to meet customer demand and delivery targets
• Manage manufacturing operations for hose assemblies, tubing, crimping, bending, and related processes
• Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and customer specifications
• Lead and develop production teams, including supervisors and line personnel
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, scrap rates, downtime, and on-time delivery
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to optimize processes
• Identify and resolve production issues, bottlenecks, and equipment inefficiencies
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and promote a strong safety culture
• Oversee inventory control, material flow, and production readiness
