About The Position

Direct Hire Seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure reliable operation of production equipment through diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control systems. You will collaborate closely with operations, leverage SCADA/PLC tools, and support training to standardize safe, efficient practices. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot root causes of equipment failures and execute corrective actions across motors, drives, sensors, pneumatics, and mechanical assemblies; document work in logs/CMMS. Interpret assembly drawings, P&IDs, and OEM manuals; apply controls fundamentals (VFDs, SCRs, motor starters) and PLC/SLC logic to optimize performance. Perform basic facility tasks as needed, including plumbing repairs, light metal fabrication, and general building upkeep. Configure and maintain field devices including gauges, RTDs, pressure transmitters, I/P transducers, and flow meters; conduct calibrations and functional checks. Operate SCADA systems to monitor trends, alarms, and setpoints; complete accurate maintenance records. Train team members on safe operation and first-line troubleshooting; collaborate with production to minimize downtime and improve changeovers. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas aligned with GMP and safety procedures; participate in continuous improvement initiatives and short-term projects. Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational priorities.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience
  • Proficiency with SCADA; working knowledge of PLC/SLC logic, VFDs, SCRs, and industrial electrical components.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with foundational plumbing and metalworking; knowledgeable in GMP and food safety standards.
  • Effective written and verbal communication; capable of training others and thriving in self-directed team environments.
  • Familiarity with proper machine setup, adjustment, and verification procedures.
