The Machinist will set up and operate machining centers to support production operations requiring precise tolerances.

Requirements

2–7 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or machining
Proficiency with CNC equipment and machine tools
Familiarity with hand tools such as drills, grinders, and sanders
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and sketches
Proficiency with tape measures and calipers for accurate measurement
Basic math skills, including working with fractions and decimals
Ability to read, write, and follow basic instructions
Capable of operating moving machinery
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

Set up, program, edit, and operate CNC equipment; perform routine maintenance.
Operate lift trucks and overhead cranes safely and efficiently.
Interpret blueprints and specifications to select appropriate materials and fabrication methods.
Conduct quality checks and report defects to ensure product conformance.
Support continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements
