About The Position

Overview The role of Production Operator I is an experienced operator who will assist with production, quality, inventory, and packaging. Responsibilities They are responsible for operating injection molding machines and maintaining production flow in accordance with the work methods and standards established for the assigned area. The machine operator will report production, check parts, assure the quality of parts produced, and assist with scrap recording. They will follow 5S procedures and safety standards while on the job. They must also possess working knowledge of manufacturing safety, PPE, packaging, and the ability to identify production issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Enthusiastic and self-starter
• Excellent team player
• Operate pallet jacks
• Able to lift weight of up to 35lbs
• Working knowledge of manufacturing safety
• Working knowledge of PPE
• Working knowledge of packaging
• Ability to identify production issues

Nice To Haves

• Technical (electrical, mechanical) education at junior college level
• Knowledge in Injection Molding Machines, Quality, Manufacturing and 5S
• Enthusiastic, hardworking and have a can-do attitude
