About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Operate and maintain heavy equipment, including loaders, for aggregate production. Load material efficiently and safely into haul trucks or crushers. Conduct regular equipment inspections and report maintenance needs. Ensure adherence to safety protocols in a dynamic quarry environment. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.
Requirements
- Proficient in operating heavy machinery with a strong focus on safety.
- Capable of working independently and within a team setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA-regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
