This Production Line Operator position is for employees dedicated to stepping up from an entry-level manufacturing floor role. Qualified candidates must be able to perform a variety of jobs, tasks, or duties as required; and must be able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as required.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Basic computer knowledge - data entry
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to climb stairs
Ability to bend
Ability to kneel
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to work in confined spaces
Ability to work at heights
Good Sight & Hearing
Attention to Detail
Ability to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as required

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of jobs, tasks, or duties as required
General housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.)
Sample retrieval
Power washing
Lifting and hauling items up and down stairs
Dump rework
Operate a motorized fork lift and a variety of other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Keep lines stocked with packaging materials
Complete appropriate paper related to the lines CCP’s, production, packaging materials
Basic troubleshooting and repair of packaging equipment
Knowledge of basic operation of equipment on the line
Notify supervisor when line is down due to equipment/oil supply issues
Report to supervisor when equipment needs attention
Report/resolve any observed quality issues while operating line
Proper start up, running and shut down of line
Basic Ammonia Operation
Knowledge of process flow and ability to trace flow from source tank to filling process
Basic Votator/Perfector operation
Basic understanding of pumps, valves, filters, and heat exchangers
