About The Position

As a Production Line Operator, you will contribute to Johnson Matthey's mission as a world leader in sustainable technology, transforming energy and reducing carbon emissions for a cleaner, brighter future. The role involves inspecting, loading, packaging, labeling, and boxing diesel catalyst products in line with production plans. You will be required to follow all Johnson Matthey Health, Safety, and Life Saving Policies, including electrical and mechanical isolation and safe operation of machinery. Responsibilities also include visually inspecting products to identify defects, damage, or non-conformance, ensuring correct segregation and traceability, and accurately handling and maintaining identification of parts, substrates, cartons, and skids by lot number. You will support production flow by completing assigned tasks from the Shift Supervisor or Process Control Engineer and participate in housekeeping and 5S activities to maintain a safe, organized production environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions, safety procedures and quality standards
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify product defects or deviations
  • Willingness to train and support new team members

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred)
