This position is reserved for employees that are dedicated to step up from an entry level position on the manufacturing floor. Qualified candidates must be able to perform a variety of jobs, tasks, or duties as required; and must be able to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as required. The tasks required, but not limited to, are general housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.), sample retrieval, power washing, lifting and hauling items up and down stairs, dump rework, and operate a motorized fork lift and a variety of other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Keep lines stocked with packaging materials Complete appropriate paper related to the lines CCP’s, production, packaging materials Basic troubleshooting and repair of packaging equipment Knowledge of basic operation of equipment on the line Notifies supervisor when line is down due to equipment/oil supply issues Report to supervisor when equipment needs attention Report/resolve any observed quality issues while operating line Proper start up, running and shut down of line Basic Ammonia Operation Knowledge of process flow and ability to trace flow from source tank to filling process Basic Votator/Perfector operation Basic understanding of pumps, valves, filters, and heat exchangers
