About The Position

Leads, supports and monitors activities of employees directly engaged in the fabrication and assembly of window & door products and/or components in a manner that meets the company’s cost, quality, productivity and profit goals

Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in window & door manufacturing or related field
• Possesses the ability to understand and communicate clearly in English & Spanish
• Demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail
• Ability to lead collaboration with employees and a wide range of people from other departments and functional areas within the organization

Nice To Haves

• Previous supervisory experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Maintains production schedule and other assigned work within allotted time by leading personnel, monitoring progress and resolving problems
• Monitors quality throughout the process for adherence to company standards and facilitates timely correction/rework of rejected products and/or components
• Ensures product quality and maximum machine uptime by monitoring & directing production line personnel responsible for daily cleaning and maintenance of equipment
• Works closely and in a cooperative manner with management and supervisors of other production lines & functional departments to help meet the company’s goals
• Assists management and supervisors in leading training of new employees on assigned daily job functions to be performed and in safe use and operation of tools and equipment
• Leads and maintains daily safe, clean work environment by training and leading personnel on established systems, policies, and procedures, especially as it relates to the company’s safety and security
• Notifies the maintenance department and plant manager of any need for adjustment or repair of equipment and cooperates in correcting deficiencies and affecting repairs
• Provides management and supervisors with information regarding progress against production plan as required
• Performs other related duties as required
