About The Position

Food Production Line Associate The Food Production Line Associate position is responsible for carrying out various tasks on the food production line to ensure the efficient and safe production of high-quality food products. Your role includes operating machinery, performing assembly tasks, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards. Schedule: Monday through Friday. 5:30 am - 2:00 pm: Overtime & Saturdays as needed

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is a plus but not required.
On-the-job training will be provided.
Must be available to work 5 to 6-day work weeks and must be able to work extended hours as needed.
Successfully complete drug screening, physical and background check requirements.
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods as well as climb stairs and ladders.
Lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks.
Work in an environment that consists of wet and moist floors which may include metal and/or plastic grating surfaces.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hairnets, gloves, ear plugs and safety glasses will be provided and must be worn as required.
Willingness and ability to work with products that may contain gluten, cheese, pine nuts and other food allergens.

Responsibilities

Demonstrate a high attention to detail.
Operate and monitor food production machinery and equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety protocols.
Assemble food products or ingredients according to recipes and production guidelines. This includes portioning, mixing, and packaging.
Inspect food products for quality, including size, appearance, and consistency. Report any defects or issues to the supervisor immediately.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area and equipment.
Handle raw materials and finished products with care, including loading and unloading ingredients and packaging materials.
Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of food products.
Work effectively with team members to meet production goals and assist colleagues as needed.
