About The Position

The production line leader will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily production activities of a production line. This key position with the production team will ensure that production goals and objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Requirements

May be required to lift up to approximately 50 pounds.
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Safety glasses are required at all times to protect against dust and particles.
Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes and dust particles.
Must be able to withstand both hot and cold atmosphere depending on weather conditions.
Must be able to travel throughout the facility to obtain information needed to perform job functions.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise the daily production activities of assigned staff.
Load rolls of chipboard on machine ensuring continuous supply of material
Keep accurate records of hourly production numbers and scrap
Inspect filters and filter packaging at various stages of production, making corrections as necessary.
Assist with providing raw materials to the production line to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing.
Sets up line for the filter manufacturing.
Performs other duties as assigned by management to support production goals
Assist the supervisor in monitoring employee performance to ensure product quality aligns with company specifications
Ensure that all employees follow safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Responsible for production and packaging of products, ensuring they meet quality standards
Conduct regular checks on production processes and report any discrepancies to supervisor
Collaborate and lead team members to foster a positive and productive environment
