The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that high-quality products are produced, packaged, and prepared for inventory in accordance with company standards.

Requirements

  • Must be detail, safety, and quality orientated; careful attention to detail is required.
  • Understand units of measure and be able to perform general mathematical equations.
  • This position requires a lot of bending, twisting, and reaching while standing.
  • Must be able to work quickly, while standing, in an extremely fast faced environment.
  • Physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, 80 pounds on occasion.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Willing and able to work overtime and handle varying work hours.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting
  • Willingness to adhere to all safety and operational standards

Nice To Haves

  • Prior mechanical experience or being mechanically inclined (i.e. capable of recognizing machine issues and irregularities) is preferred.
  • Previous forklift experience/ certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with loading and packaging products onto pallets
  • Wrap and stage palletized products for inventory
  • Operate a forklift (as needed) to move palletized materials
  • Perform general plant housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Conduct basic equipment maintenance throughout the shift
  • Follow all company policies and safety procedures
