The live receiving lead is responsible for overseeing the live receiving area as well as helping to keep the department flowing efficiently while maintaining quality to a high standard.

Responsibilities

Set up and tear down department at shift start and end
Ensure department needs are met and communicate effectively with team members
Monitor equipment performance, quality, and food safety standards to ensure KPIs are met
Maintain efficiency and make day-to-day operational decisions
Be present on the floor to oversee processes and assist with training new team members in safety and food safety procedures
Maintain consistent product and quality flow
Contact maintenance or electronics immediately when the line is down and notify your supervisor
Review production schedules and complete daily cadence reports on numbers and labor
Submit work orders and communicate all concerns with maintenance, electronics, and your supervisor
Verify correct product and order accuracy
Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying and resolving process issues
Lead daily stretching and huddle meetings
Coordinate work assignments, supply orders, and necessary documentation
Perform physical tasks as needed and ensure compliance with GMPs and PPE use
Conduct weekly safety observations and departmental audits
Track downtime and training
Maintain good housekeeping standards
Support supervisor in communicating the Company’s vision, policies, and procedures to team members.
Monitor team member job performance and communicate expectations to team member and keep supervisor informed of each team member’s job performance.
