About The Position

Position Overview The Production Lead employee is responsible for following proper procedures and specifications while being the lead in a production area such as Packaging and Wrapping. This position has limited supervisory responsibilities. Essential Functions The following duties are considered essential functions of the role. Ensure that production goals and objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner Ensure that production processes are carried out in accordance with established safety and quality standards Train and mentor production staff in the use of equipment and processes Communicate effectively (verbal and written) with all contacts Accept and adapt easily to change Ensure that all activities are consistent with Company Mission Statement Operate job-related equipment with or without an accommodation Meet physical demands of job with or without an accommodation Perform other duties as assigned Work Environment Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, temperature variations, dust, chemicals, and common food allergens. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or (GED) is required.
  • Bakery experience is strongly preferred and/or a combination of education and relevant experience
  • 1-3 Years related experience and/or training preferred

  • Must have ability to do basic math for counting pallets, packages and rows of cookies
