About The Position

Completes job tasks in various operational areas such as production, sanitation,
vac, packing, shipping & receiving during the non-holiday months.

Requirements

• At least one-year experience in a production/assembly line preferred
• At least one-year food manufacturing experience.
• At least one-year supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform all job functions in the Processing room.
• Forklift certified.
• Requires co-operation and understanding of working under HACCP and USDA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assists the supervisor in all phases of the 1st and 2nd (if applicable) shift Ham and Turkey production, including monitoring targets and total room operations.
• Ensure all materials are set-up for production based on the daily production plan and provides feedback to supervisor/management when issues may arise.
• Will assist in performing end of shift reports, which consists of and not limited to: Processing & Inventory Reports QA reports.
• Rotates staff to fulfill all positions, and provide feedback to supervisor, responsible for safety on assigned shift.
• Able to work flexible hours during the peak season and off season.
