About The Position

As a Production Lead at Metyx USA, you are the heartbeat of the factory floor. You will guide a team of operators to meet daily production targets while maintaining the highest standards for safety and quality. This is a working-lead position, meaning you will provide direct supervision and mentorship while also jumping in to assist with machine setups and troubleshooting when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership : Coordinate daily tasks for a team of up to 15 operators, ensuring everyone is at their station and following the production schedule.
• Performance Monitoring : Track hourly output and downtime. If a machine (like a multiaxial knitter) is underperforming, you identify the bottleneck and fix it.
• Quality Control : Conduct "first-piece" inspections and periodic checks to ensure fabrics meet technical specifications for weight, width, and weave pattern.
• Training & Safety : Ensure all operators are following Metyx-specific SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). Ensure all PPE is worn, and safety guards are in place.
• Reporting: Maintain accurate production logs and report shift handovers to the Operations Team to ensure a seamless transition.
• Forklift and Overhead Crane Operation
