For more information, please visit www.ayrwellness.com . Job Summary Infusions team members of all levels work as a team to produce high quality, accurately dosed marijuana-infused products (MIPs). The goal is to optimize kitchen and cooking procedures to successfully create consistent, safe, delicious, quality edibles and other MIPs. Communication skills, organization, attention to safety, detail and time management are critical to the success of the kitchen. In addition to the basic responsibilities of an Infusions Technician, the primary responsibilities of the Infusions Lead are to oversee technicians on day-to-day tasks to ensure consistent product quality, steady and sufficient output, and cleanliness and organization of the infusions production and packaging areas. The Infusions Lead will be in part responsible for enforcing compliance as well as employee training. This position will work closely with the Infusions Manager to ensure deadlines and quotas are met, all records are completed and accurate, and personnel are on task.

Requirements

  • Must meet age requirement as outlined by state cannabis agencies.
  • Able to pass all background checks/fingerprinting as required by state cannabis agencies.
  • Able to provide valid badging/credentials as required by state cannabis agencies.
  • High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
  • Proficient math skill and basic computer skills (i.e. MS Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment, inventory practices, and safe kitchen practices
  • Strong documentation practices (i.e. maintain kitchen notebook, ingredient lists, etc.)
  • Work best in a fast-paced environment with a strong capacity for multi-tasking
  • Associate degree in culinary arts
  • 1 year experience in a professional kitchen

Responsibilities

  • Independently executes all recipes consistently.
  • Establishes focused and positive work culture for department while monitoring team productivity and efficiency, production quality, and uniformity.
  • Completes consumption logs and produces temporary labels prior to batch production.
  • Independently doses batches accurately, referring to “dosing tracker” for most up-to-date data.
  • Takes initiative to clean and sterilize workspaces, equipment, and materials without direction.
  • Organizes both regulated and non-regulated material.
  • Follows instructions and reacts quickly even in high stress environments.
  • Problem solves autonomously when challenges arise.
  • Opens and closes the kitchen independently at the beginning/end of shifts.
  • Assists with training new team members on recipe execution, quality standards, and accuracy.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
